This data is of notices and warnings (where required by statute) served by Nottingham City Council (specifically its Environmental Health and Safer Places team).
Prior to 2019, the datasets included noise abatement notices, however since 2019 this has now been expanded to include all legal warnings and notices.
It is possible, with reasonable certainty, to cross reference this data with Statutory Nuisance investigation data to identify the nuisance/complaint type and the Premises type.
Note: Where a single notice has been served on an address on a given date the nuisance 'author'/source may be either a business premises or a residential property with a single occupant.
Where two Notices are served on an address on a given date it is likely to be a residential property with two adult occupants, or a business.
Where multiple Notices (3 or more) are served on an address on a given date it is likely to be for a nuisance from a property with multiple occupants e.g. a student household.
Note the data prior to 2019 is only for Statutory Noise Nuisance Abatement Notices
